Nelly Accused of Steroid Use, Gambling Addiction, Foreclosure

Nelly is facing accusations of steroid use, gambling addiction and a looming house foreclosure by a man claiming to be his former manager.

The accuser goes by “Slim” and apparently works for Loose Cannon Entertainment, a promotion company out of St. Louis, Nelly’s hometown. It seems the trouble started brewing May 21 when the rapper posted on his Twitter that he wasn’t attending a celebrity basketball game Loose Cannon was promoting.  He tweeted this:

“NOO IM NOT PLAYING IN ANY BASKETBALLGAME TODAY IN STL!!i dont f#ck wit ""S_hady L_ame I_gnorant M_uthaf#ckas""!!”

Slim was quick to respond, tweeting back:

“@Nelly_Mo Man I tryn to focus on my FADEAWAY JUMPER for 2nites game and u should be focusin on yo FADEAWAY CAREER!!!”

“Sorry STL but I'm tryn to put on for us and dis nicca @Nelly_Mo goin try n embrass us when got all this company #fuckdathasbeen”

The tweets have been flying back and forth ever since, with the heat increasing by the day. Nelly called out Slim for charging the city for the celebrity basketball game, noting his own help in bringing a sound and engineering school to St. Louis and granting scholarships to local graduates. Slim retorted that the comment was a low blow and said it probably wasn’t even Nelly’s money used for the projects.

And he was just getting started.  Here are some more.

After a slew of accusing posts, Slim apologized to any friends and family caught in the crossfire, saying the whole situation was “corny.”

Nelly officially cleared the air of the accusations with posts on Saturday, tweeting:

“1st if u Believe slim was my manager then this is pointless anyway!"I MADE SLIM"!but this is the thanx I get 4given some1 from crib a shot!”

“2nd don't nothing go in this body but fish,chicken,turkey,protein,ROZAY,ciroc remy and Budweiser!!and MIKEnIKES,LONDONandSONS!!”

“3rd Ino some hoping that 4closure statement is tru but I'm sorry"EPIC FAIL""!anytime any1 n STL wanna match deeds or pinkslips HOLLA!#FACTS”

No more direct tweets have been exchanged, though Slim has commented about “stupid shit” and haters.
