The 61st NBA All-Star Game will not only bring together the most talented players in the league this year but the best in the music world will be showing up in numbers as well. This year’s star-studded lineup includes Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Will.i.am, Flo Rida, Mary J. Blige and several other guest performers throughout the NBA All-Star Game and weekend events.
The musical performances of NBA All-Star Weekend will kick-off Feb. 25 with appearances by Will.i.am and Flo Rida. The night’s activities will also include a slam dunk contest and a three-point contest.
Game day entertainment tips off Feb. 26 with the Sprint Pregame Concert at 5 p.m. J.Cole is scheduled to perform his hits from Cole World, “Work Out” and “Can’t Get Enough.” This portion of the concert will air live from the Amway Center in Orlando, FL on NBA TV. Alternative hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes will close the show with their hit single “Get Yourself Back Home,” this portion of the show will air at 6 p.m. on TNT. The Sprint Pregame show is open to all fans with tickets to the game.

Soulful singer Mary J. Blige will open the game with the national anthem and pop group Neverest will be performing the Canadian anthem as well. Nicki Minaj is also scheduled to perform her hit “Super Bass” and the brand new cut “Starships” during introductions.
Heating up the stage at halftime, Pitbull and Ne-Yo will team up to perform their number-one Billboard Hot 100 single, “Give Me Everything.”
The 2012 All-Star Game features five fan-selected starters for both the Eastern and Western Conference. Team Shaq and Team Chuck will face-off at 7:30 p.m. for conference bragging rights. This game will reach fans in over 200 countries and in over 40 languages.
