Rascal Flatts Announces "Thaw Out 2012" Tour

Country music fans, gather your boots and gear up. Upon becoming a part of the historic music venue Grand Ole Opry’s family, Rascal Flatts also announced some exciting tour news for devoted fans in the upcoming year. All Access Fan Club Member pre-sales are now taking place for Thaw Out 2012.Chances are limited to witness the Rascal Flatts pandemonium, as only nine dates have been disclosed thus far. The tour begins Jan. 12 at the Civic Center Coliseum in Charleston, W. Va. and wraps up Feb. 18 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

Other destinations include Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill., on Jan. 20, as well as the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., on Jan. 26. Fans will not only get the opportunity to bask in Rascal Flatts’ dynamic aura, but will also be pleased to hear the opening acts of country starlet Sara Evans and the fresh, new stylings of Hunter Hayes.

The presale tickets opened on Oct. 11 and the general public tickets became available on Oc. 13. Ticket prices will vary between markets, but most will fall within the same price range. For instance, Columbus offers the lowest ticket prices at $22, while East Rutherford is on the pricey end at $66.25.

Rascal Flatts recently performed Oct. 8 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn.for Opry’s 86th Birthday Bash. Opry member Little Jimmy Dickens inducted the trio, and their performance was aired live on GAC.

The special effects, including laser lights and brilliant fireworks displays, ensure that their performances are ones that never leave the crowd disappointed. According to Nielsen, Rascal Flatts was the top selling artist in 2006. Beginning tours in the fall of 2002, they were considered to be one of the top 25 tours of the year by 2005.
