The London fuzz-rock trio Male Bonding kicked-off the tour for their second album Endless Now in mid-July. Originally the tour only included 10 shows in North America while the rest were scheduled to take place throughout Europe. However, the band recently announced they will be adding six more shows in the U.S. and one more in Canada throughout the month of Oct. For this leg of the tour, Male Bonding will be sharing the stage with several bands including Unnatural Helpers, Bleeding Knees Club and Waters.
Endless Now is the follow-up to Male Bonding’s 2010 debut album Nothing Hurts. The sophomore album had its first week of recording at Dreamland Recording Studio in Woodstock, NY, a converted 19th-century church. The studio has played a part in the creation of many classics, including The B-52’s “Love Shack.”

“We wanted to push ourselves as much as possible,” said Male Bonding’s drummer Robin. He explained that traces of piano, cello and mellotron along with much more guitar than their first album went into Endless Now. Vocalist and bass-player Kevin said that their week spent at Dreamland was completely dedicated to work and productivity, only breaking for meals and the occasional nightcap. The album was completed at Headgear Recording in Brooklyn and released Aug. 30 via Sub Pop Records.
