The Rocket Summer Will Join Switchfoot's North American Tour

The Rocket Summer will join Switchfoot’s previously announced North American tour. The lengthy tour will kick off in Hawaii on March 22 and will end August 18 in Montana.

The Rocket Summer have attached themselves to Switchfoot, who have a lot of endeavors planned for the upcoming months. Next week the band will head to New Zealand, where they will be headlining the traveling Soundwave Festival. While on the road, the band will be filming scenes for the upcoming surf film, Fading West, which will feature numerous incredible surfing locations Switchfoot has visited while on tour.

Switchfoot is also planning to release a limited edition CD entitled Vice Re-Verses on the annual Record Store Day, April 21. The album will contain remixes on songs from their album, Vive Verses. For those who can’t get their hands on the Record Store Day release, the record will be digitally released on May 1 and will include a remix of the band’s new single, “Afterlife.”
