The Beach Boys have released tour dates for a reunion tour, which will kick off on April 24 in Tucson, Arizona.
The tour will stretch into early August and wrap up in Belgium, although more dates may be added in the meantime. The group is also set to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April and the Bonaroo Music Festival in June.
The Beach Boys went their separate ways in the 1998 after a founding member of the band, Carl Wilson, died. The band didn’t fully recovered until February 2011 when Mike Love and Al Jardine relinquished their former grudges, in which both launched lawsuits against each other after Wilson’s death. They ended up performing side by side at the Ronald Reagan Library. Last December Jardine officially confirmed rumors about the band getting back together, and plans for a new album were released.
The band recently performed at The Grammy Awards alongside Maroon 5 and Foster the People, their first performance together in 2012.
Unlike their performance in 2011, all members of the band will be present, including Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston and David Marks, a guitarist who left the band in 1963 when he was only 15.
